The care plan
The most common way a small business website dies is that nobody touches it for three years. This is the fix.
Hosting and the security certificate. Backups. Software and dependency updates so nothing quietly breaks.
And the part people actually use: changes. New hours. A new staff photo. A price that went up. A page for the service you started offering in March. You send a message, I make the change, usually the same day.
A website that is current tells a customer you are open and paying attention. A website with last year's hours on it tells them to call somebody else, and they will not tell you that is why.
Search engines notice too. A site that changes occasionally gets crawled more often than one that has not moved since it launched.
It is not a contract. Cancel any month and keep everything.
It is not a rebuild budget. If you decide you want a completely different site in two years, that is a new project with a new price, and I will tell you that up front rather than letting it creep.
It is not unlimited development. Small changes are included, and when something is genuinely a new project I will say so and quote it before doing anything.
No. You can take the site and host it anywhere. The plan exists because most small businesses do not want to think about hosting, and because sites that nobody maintains go stale fast.
Small changes are usually same day, next day at the outside. If something will take longer I will tell you when to expect it.
Text, photographs, hours, prices, adding or removing a service, a seasonal banner, a new staff member. If it is bigger than that I will say so before starting.
You keep the site, the files and the domain. I will help you move the hosting somewhere else so nothing goes dark.
Sometimes. Send me the link and I will tell you honestly whether it is worth maintaining or whether rebuilding would cost you less in the long run.
One message, one reply from an actual person, and a straight answer about whether I am the right fit. No sales call, no deck.
